    Zany Zebra Update

At the deadline for Zany Zebra there were over 330 fabulous entries with some brilliant design ideas. With so many different ideas suggested we have spent this week sifting through the entries and used a selection of the design concepts to come up with a final unique design that reflects Fair Oak Infant School. The final design has been shared with the children in assembly today and now needs to be sent to Marwell for their approval before we can start work. Once we have received approval, we will of course share it with you.

  • Healthy Week

    Fri 29 Jan 2016

    Year R

As part of our PSHE we looked and thought about how we keep ourselves healthy. We talked about what we need to keep ourselves healthy. We also thought about how we can keep ourselves safe at school and who helps to keep us safe. Can your child tell you one of the people who keep them safe at school?

    Year 1

We started our week with an exciting Health Day. The children enjoyed participating in a variety of activities based around different aspects of Health. For example: the children challenged their physical strength within circuit training. They learnt about the importance of having a healthy diet in order to maintain a healthy mind. Finally the children joined in team building games and discussed the importance of being a good friend.

    Year 2

This week Year 2 focussed on being healthy by spending a day undertaking a wide range of activities that promoted both making healthy choices and physical and mental health and wellbeing. The children also learnt about e-safety and took part in games that encouraged team work and fair play. Activities were linked our school values - caring, respect, reflectiveness, creativity perseverance and collaboration.
