  Harvest Festival

  We welcomed Mr Keating from Eastleigh Basic Bank for our annual Harvest assembly.  Each year group performed their own harvest song or poem and we talked about Mr Peart’s shopping and how farmers all around the world grow food we eat.  We played a matching game, trying to match the shopping to pictures of it growing in the fields.

  Thank you so much for all the donations, I am sure these will be very well received by local families.

  

• Bikeability in Year One

  Bikeability came to visit Year One on Thursday when children took part in Scooter Training. The children were taught to scoot to Pavilion Close and learnt about different ways to stay safe when using their scooters near the road. The children were really good at looking both ways before crossing a driveway and staying on the inside of the pavements. They also learnt a superpower saying needed when someone is in their way: ‘Excuse me please!’

  Back at school the children participated in scooter games on the playground. They even had to scoot under a limbo pole!
