Welcome

Welcome to Fair Oak Infant School!

From the Head Teacher, Hazel Shaw

As Headteacher of Fair Oak Infant School, I am delighted to introduce you to our school. We are one of the largest infant schools in Hampshire with 12 classes and a large team of terrific teachers and superb support staff.

Everyone says how bright and light and colourful our school is and how brilliant the displays of work are. We work really hard to make our school a beautiful place and are very proud of the quality of our learning environment.

Our school logo is a person watering some seeds which grow into flowers and trees. It was designed by Stephen Birtles, an ex-pupil. Our school motto is "Sow the seeds of success" which we do very well by working with parents to nurture our children through these three very important years of education. Our high standards and achievements have been recognised by two excellent Ofsted Inspections, most recently in Janaury 2007 and by two School Achievement Awards, The Basic Skills Quality Mark, The National Healthy Schools Standard, Arts Mark, Investors in People status, the ICT Mark and the British Council's International School Award. Click on the appropriate logo to view these awards.

This success is due to all involved with our school - staff, parents, governors and, most importantly of all, the children. They are brilliant!
